As a PCA, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents, working closely with our healthcare team to ensure their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, medication management, and mobility support.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care, including progress notes and medication administration.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and teamwork.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of PCA training program preferred.
- Basic computer skills and ability to navigate electronic health records.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds, with frequent standing, walking, and bending.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
