Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated MRI Technologist to join our team as a travel professional. As a travel MRI Technologist, you will have the opportunity to work with various healthcare facilities across the country, utilizing your expertise to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
  • Perform patient studies according to set protocols, including placing specified coils close to areas of interest.
  • Interview patients to explain magnetic resonance imaging procedures and address their concerns.
  • Ensure patient and staff safety by explaining safety protocols and monitoring patients via closed-circuit TV.
  • Orient new hires and train MRI Technologists, students, and trainees.
Requirements
  • Two years of regular (20 hours or more per week) continuous recent experience as a MRI Technologist and be fully proficient in all the duties required of a MRI Technologist II.
  • License in required state.
  • BLS.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other incumbents of the organization.
  • Ability to learn applications relevant to the position.
Work Environment

This is a contract/temporary/travel position with a 13-week duration. The work environment is fast-paced and requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
