Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Overlake Medical Center. As a key member of our medical imaging department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional exams and procedures using magnetic resonance imaging technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement operating policies and procedures in collaboration with medical imaging leadership and department medical director.
  • Perform diagnostic and interventional exams and procedures within established guidelines, ensuring high-quality images and accurate diagnoses.
  • Serve as a role model and resource within the department, providing guidance and support to colleagues.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.
Requirements
  • AA/BA/BS degree through an accredited Radiology program or formal military or hospital-based radiology technologist training program.
  • ARRT(R) registry required upon hire, with Washington State certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) also required.
  • ARRT(MR) advanced registry required within 6 months of employment as an MRI technologist.
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a medical imaging technologist, with previous hospital experience preferred.
  • Current/Maintain Healthcare Provider CPR certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Lead MRI Technologist position: Must have ARRT(R)(MR) and RT State license upon hire, with a minimum of six months previous leadership experience preferred.
