Physical Therapist- Specialty Care- Pool Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Unity Health. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in accordance with hospital regulations, policies and procedures.
About the Role
This position requires a minimum of a B.S. degree in physical therapy from an accredited institution. You must also have a current license to practice physical therapy in the State of Arkansas and be able to function in a professional manner with minimal direct supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain standards of patient care in accordance with hospital regulations, policies and procedures as established for physical therapy.
- Confers with medical staff regarding policies and procedures pertaining to the care of patients in this area.
- Supervises P.T.A.'s and/or therapy aides and technicians.
- Assist patients in positioning and transfers as needed for specific treatment programs.
- Convey instructions and information to patients and staff members.
- Perceive reactions to treatment and read instructions.
Requirements
- B.S. degree in physical therapy from an accredited institution.
- Current license to practice physical therapy in the State of Arkansas.
- One to three months on-the-job training to learn department procedures.
- Able to perform job duties of a registered physical therapist and those general duties specific to the Rehabilitative Services Department.
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
