Job Summary:

Restaurant Depot is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Warehouse Stocker - Freezer to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, stocking products on shelves, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provides prompt, courteous, and friendly customer service to internal and external customers.

Removes boxes from pallets and places them on shelves, as well as opens boxes and removes single items to re-stock shelves.

Organizes and front-faces items on shelves to ensure a visually appealing store environment.

Performs proper inspections to meet HACCP regulations and ensures that shelf pricing is correct and reflects the most recent pricing.

Assists in the review of inventory for product rotation daily to prevent shrinkage and damages.

Ensures that the warehouse is maintained in a clean and safe condition, adhering to a regular maintenance schedule of scrubbing and pulling out pallets and cleaning underneath.

Continuously reviews the status of department floors for safety hazards and promptly and safely handles any spills and removes any trash.

Works with Hi-Lo operators to ensure that the selling floor remains stocked and safe by promptly returning overstock pallets to the overhead reserves.

Promptly informs supervisors of any low stock or out-of-stock merchandise.

Physical Demands:

Frequent walking and standing on concrete for up to 10 hours a day.

Frequently turning, standing, reaching, stooping, and/or bending.

Frequently pushing/pulling objects weighing 500 to 1,500 pounds.

Frequently lifting/carrying objects weighing more than 60 pounds.

Work Environment:

Frequent exposure to cold/freezing temperatures.

Equipment in motion (forklifts, electric pallet jacks, scooters).

Performs other work-related duties as required and assigned.

May be required to work in other departments as needed.
