About the Role

SMS Holdings is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Safety Ambassador to join our team. As a Safety Ambassador, you will play a critical role in maintaining the safety and well-being of our community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Patrol and Deterrent: Traverse the streets on bike to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible presence in assigned zones.
  • Observation and Reporting: Monitor for unwanted behaviors or criminal activity and report to local authorities via established communication methods.
  • Addressing Unwanted Activities: Firmly and courteously request compliance from individuals violating low-level quality of life crimes.
  • Hospitality and Customer Service: Provide friendly greetings and directions to pedestrians, and offer information and recommendations to visitors.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Visit district businesses to share information and make professional contacts on behalf of SMS Holdings.
  • Reporting: Develop written Incident Reports and Property Condition Reports, and provide daily written reports to document shift activities.
  • Professionalism: Maintain a positive and professional environment in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

  • Physical Abilities: Possess the physical capacity to ride a bike or traverse continuously during an eight-hour shift, with normal breaks.
  • Communication: Be able to speak, read, and write the English language to create basic reports.
