Physical Therapist Assistant Opportunity at Resorts at Augsburg

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Resorts at Augsburg. As a PTA, you will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to provide comprehensive treatment to patients and assist with their rehabilitation.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide treatment to patients under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, following state practice guidelines.
  • Assist Physical Therapists in directing patient participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance.
  • Facilitate the learning of essential skills and functions for adaptation and productivity.
  • Ensure that MD orders are obtained for treatments, recertifications, and discharges.
  • Assist with other documentation requirements as indicated and according to state guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Graduate with an Associate's degree in Physical Therapy recognized by the APTA.
  • Holds current license and/or registration in the state of Maryland.
  • Current CPR certification.
