Job Title: MRI Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MRI Technologist to join our team at Health Images. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform MRI procedures according to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Prepare patients for MRI procedures, including explaining the procedure and obtaining informed consent.
  • Operate MRI equipment, including scanners and related systems.
  • Monitor patient safety and comfort during procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and results.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
Requirements:
  • Two plus years' experience in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) - preferred.
  • Ability to educate patients on procedures being performed.
  • Detail oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver and a team player.
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Strong communication skills & professional demeanor.
Education/Certifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program.
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification with Registry in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) or current American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
  • Current license from state medical board (if applicable).
  • Current CPR certification.
