Job Summary

HRV Conformance Verification Associates, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Precast Concrete Inspector to join our team in the Memphis, TN area. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in the production of precast concrete products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct on-site inspections of precast concrete plants to verify compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Perform quality control checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and quality control data.
  • Communicate effectively with plant personnel, management, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless quality control processes.
Requirements
  • Valid PCI Level II or III certification issued by the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute.
  • ACI Certified Concrete Field Testing Technician - Grade 1 certification.
  • Proven experience in prestressed concrete inspection, particularly in transportation and bridge projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. occasionally and up to 10 lbs. frequently, with physical stamina to perform inspections and testing.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
Physical Requirements
  • Physical activity includes climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, reaching, walking, grasping, talking, hearing, and standing for sustained periods of time.
  • Visual acuity requirements include color and depth perception, and field of vision.
