Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at the Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities. As an Early Intervention Specialist, you will play a critical role in assessing and providing services to children birth to three years old with developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, and communication skills in children with developmental disabilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide coordinated services and support.
  • Provide training and education to families, caregivers, and other professionals on communication strategies and techniques.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of services provided.
Available Assignments

We have multiple openings available, including a position based in Highland Hills, Ohio, and a Floater assignment based in Highland Hills, Ohio. These assignments offer a unique opportunity to work with a diverse range of children and families, and to contribute to the development of our Early Intervention program.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children with developmental disabilities and their families.
