Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Dialysis Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Dialysis Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment. Your expertise and compassion will make a significant difference in the lives of our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care, training, and home support to patients as needed;
- Collaborate with our team, skilled nursing home facility representatives, and dedicated Nephrologists to ensure seamless care;
- Collect and record patient health data during and after hemodialysis treatment;
- Develop and maintain a plan of care to achieve expected outcomes;
- Implement and record interventions to achieve expected outcomes in our electronic medical record system;
- Perform laboratory collection, processing, and shipping procedures, and reschedule missed or inadequate laboratory collections;
- Perform clerical tasks, including filing, inventory management, admission documentation, and creating patient charts;
- Maintain a positive and respectful attitude towards patients and colleagues;
- Occasional travel to nearby locations may be required;
- Administer medications and document patient care.
Requirements:
- BS/AA/diploma in nursing with at least 12 months of RN experience (3 months in hemodialysis) preferred;
- Valid RN license;
- BLS certification;
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds is required.
