Job Title: Pediatric Intensive Care Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Intensive Care team at MultiCare Health System. As a PICU RN, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill children, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Job Summary:
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill children in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medications, and treatments
  • Collaborate with families to provide emotional support and education
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Responsibilities:
  • Organize and prioritize patient care activities to ensure timely and effective delivery of care
  • Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex patient needs
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent experience
  • Current RN licensure in Washington State or multi-state licensure endorsement
  • ACLS or PALS certification required; NRP or TNCC certification preferred
  • One year of experience in acute care setting, preferably in PICU
