Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Personal Care Specialist to join our team. As a Personal Care Specialist, you will provide direct support and assistance to individuals in their homes and out in the community, helping them to achieve their personal goals and desires.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing positive direction and assistance to individuals in daily living activities, such as dining, mobility, health, and hygiene.
  • Accompanying individuals on errands and outings, including shopping, medical appointments, and recreational activities.
  • Attending community events and supporting individuals in achieving their personal goals.
  • Developing and implementing personalized support plans to meet the unique needs of each individual.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
  • Ability to pass background check.
