Your Responsibilities

A typical day at MySpot is dynamic and rewarding, requiring empathy, analytical skills, and a commitment to enhancing children's lives. Your duties will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify each child's physical strengths and challenges.
  • Creating personalized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each child, focusing on enhancing mobility, strength, coordination, and overall functional abilities.
  • Implementing evidence-based physical therapy interventions through engaging and enjoyable activities to motivate children and promote progress.
  • Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and families, to ensure holistic care and optimal outcomes.
  • Providing guidance and education to families on therapeutic exercises and activities to support their child's development outside of therapy sessions.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and communication with other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

  • Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of practice.
