Position Overview:

As a Manufacturing Assembly Specialist at Crusoe, you will play a crucial role in the preparation, assembly, and ongoing enhancement of processes for products and components produced on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize basic hand tools and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Perform drilling and tapping of metal components, ensuring the use of appropriate fixings.
  • Interpret and work from electrical manufacturing drawings competently.
  • Maintain high safety and quality standards in all tasks.
  • Understand and apply industry manufacturing procedures effectively.
  • Prepare cables for installation and create labels using electronic and handheld label machines.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of cable sizing and the correct use of ferrules and crimp sizes.
  • Mechanically layout components on sub-panels and secure them appropriately.
  • Have a foundational understanding of power and control wiring.
  • Install and mount field devices, terminating cables to instrumentation and junction boxes.
  • Assemble, wire, and loom according to industry standards.
  • Manage material levels to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing processes.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 0-2+ years of experience in an electronic assembly environment or as an electrician's apprentice is preferred.
  • Ability to read and comprehend a variety of blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
  • Basic understanding of electronic and electrical theory.
  • Mechanical aptitude is essential.
  • Capability to review and modify drawings as necessary.
  • Physical ability to lift, lower, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for extended periods.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong team player mentality.
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
