Computed Tomography Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a CT Tech, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues.
Key Responsibilities- Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests to ensure accurate and safe procedures
- Position patients correctly for scanning and administer radiocontrast agents as needed
- Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and maintain accurate patient records
- Follow safety procedures when working with radiation and understand the McKesson PACS system
To be successful in this role, you must have 1 year of experience as a CT Tech, hold BLS certification, and be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in computed tomography. Additionally, you should be able to stand and walk for long periods and have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Please note that additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
