Job Overview
The Middlesex Corporation is a renowned leader in the heavy civil construction industry, specializing in building and reconstructing highways, bridges, marine, rail, and transit facilities. As an Fleet Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing a variety of heavy construction equipment, ensuring duties are performed in a safe, efficient, and effective manner.

Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair problems to construction equipment both on and off road equipment small and large
- Perform preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment routinely as needed
- Responsible for filling out daily work orders accurately
- Responsible for turning in approved parts request forms
- Field service repairs on an as-needed basis
- Responsible for keeping clean and safe work area and using proper PPE at all times

Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of (5) years of experience working on large and small construction equipment
- Must be able to work independently
- Must have the ability to meet deadlines on set schedules
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Must have own tools and possess valid driver's license CDL a plus
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules

Estimated Salary Range:
$55,000 - $70,000 per year
