Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Travel PCU Nurse. As a Travel PCU Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to patients in a PCU setting, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, physical condition, and treatment goals.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and other nurses, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patient responses to these interventions.
  • Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner, including maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of New Jersey.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a PCU setting, with a preference for 2 years or more.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States.
