**Job Summary**

At Jeff Belzer's Auto Group, we're seeking a skilled Transmission Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service department, you'll be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex transmission issues in a fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Inspect vehicle engines and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately.
  • Inspect vehicle computers and electronic systems to repair, maintain, and upgrade.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on vehicles.
  • Document work performed.
  • Road-test vehicles when required or refer to the test technician.

**Requirements:**

  • Must have a complete understanding of removing, replacing, and rebuilding transmissions.
  • Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram experience a plus, but not required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of vocational program preferred, but not required.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving history.
