Job Opportunity

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team at our Zeeland, MI location.

We are looking for an individual with a minimum of 1 year of experience in refrigeration systems, components, and controls, including experience with ammonia refrigeration systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic plant equipment and be able to perform routine preventative maintenance repairs, troubleshoot issues, and safely apply knowledge and troubleshooting skills to all assigned production equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic plant equipment.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
  • Safely apply knowledge and troubleshooting skills to all assigned production equipment.
  • Effectively interact with all plant personnel to accomplish plant and individual goals.
  • Minimize downtime due to equipment failure.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Refrigeration Technician or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of refrigeration systems, components, and controls, including experience with ammonia refrigeration systems.
  • Basic computer skills necessary for logging information, processing daily work orders, and completing required documentation.
