Job Title: MRI Technologist

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at American Traveler. As a travel MRI Technologist, you will have the opportunity to work in various healthcare settings and gain valuable experience in diagnostic imaging.

Job Summary:

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for operating MRI equipment, preparing patients for scans, and maintaining a safe and clean environment. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and excellent patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images
  • Prepare patients for scans, including explaining procedures and positioning patients
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control protocols
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on MRI equipment
Requirements:
  • Current professional license as required by the state
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Valid BLS through the American Heart Association
  • Specialty-related certifications are preferred and may be required for specific travel positions
