We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Social Worker to join our team at Page Unified School District #8. As a Social Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to students, families, and staff to ensure the well-being and success of our students.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide individual and group counseling services to students, addressing a range of issues including academic, social, and emotional concerns.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other support staff to develop and implement individualized plans to support student success.
- Conduct assessments and provide recommendations for students who require additional support or services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community agencies and resources to provide students and families with access to additional support services.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices and research-based interventions.
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Bachelor's in Social Work or Related Field.
- Experience working with students, families, and staff in a school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of Native American cultures and experience working with Native American students and families preferred.
