Join Avera's Anesthesia Team

Avera is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a CRNA, you will be responsible for coordinating anesthesia care for assigned patients, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate anesthesia care for assigned patients
  • Work collaboratively with the anesthesia team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Provide education and support to patients and families
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
Requirements:
  • Graduation from a program of nurse anesthesia education accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs
  • Masters degree preferred
  • RN licensure in the state of SD or multi-state privilege to practice in SD
  • CRNA licensure in the state of South Dakota
  • Certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetist
  • BLS Certification within 60 days of hire
  • ACLS Certification within 6 months of hire
  • PALS Certification within 6 months of hire
