Controller, Blockchain

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to join our Finance team in Miami. As a key member of our accounting infrastructure, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining our financial systems, processes, and policies.

• Assist in all aspects of finance, including journal entries, accounting policy, and financial reporting
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
• Partner with operations teams to ensure seamless record-to-report process
• Take ownership of consolidation process for MidCo and TopCo levels
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards
• Provide support for audits and manage timely and effective audit processes
• Assist in building a scalable and efficient accounting and finance function
• Reconcile bank, cryptocurrency wallets, and credit card accounts
• Establish and maintain internal controls procedures and processes

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required
• CPA or Chartered Accountant preferred, but not required
• 5-10 years experience in accounting/finance functions, preferably within financial services
• Experience with international accounting is a plus
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work as a team
• Capacity to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards
