About the Job

Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) play a vital role in providing resident-centered care, including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, obtaining vital signs, and psychosocial support. They also assist residents with meals and snacks, provide water and supplements as needed, and promote a positive dining experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist residents with meals and snacks, and provide water and supplements as needed
  • Provide psychosocial support to residents, including listening to their concerns and providing emotional support
  • Assist residents with transferring, repositioning, and walking using correct and appropriate transfer techniques and equipment
  • Document resident cares and behaviors according to Society policy, procedure, and regulations
  • Handle and dispose of linens, soiled clothing, or supplies properly, and follow consistent hand washing and Personal Protective Equipment use

Shift and Schedule

Variable hours per week, alternating between 36 and 48 hours, with every other weekend required. Opportunities for overtime are available to pick up. Variable shifts must be flexible.
