Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Operations Specialist to join our team at Scottsdale Unified School. As a key member of our facilities management department, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our school buildings and grounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair buildings, fixtures, systems, facilities, and grounds by making journey-level repairs or installations depending on area of assignment/expertise.
  • Serve as a lead to lower-level staff, prioritizing and assigning work, monitoring performance, training staff, and participating in performance evaluations.
  • Install, make, and/or modify various materials, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Inspect facilities, systems, and fixtures and ensure periodic servicing.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation and standardized paperwork related to daily assignments.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A vocational degree and four years of specialized trades experience directly related to the area of assignment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A valid Arizona Driver's License.
  • Licensing Requirements: CFC, Pesticide Applicator License, Commercial Driver's License, Class A, ASE Certifications, and licensure in a trade.
