Geospatial Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Geospatial Manager to join our team at Walmart. As a key member of our Geographic Information Systems (GIS) team, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing our internal GIS infrastructure, data, and product templates to support multiple business functions.

• Develop and maintain GIS infrastructure, data, and product templates to support multiple business functions.
• Collaborate with internal business partners to understand their needs and translate them into actionable GIS solutions.
• Standardize GIS products for event types and build ad hoc products to support special requests.
• Develop and document processes for efficient GIS data acquisition, analysis, and dissemination.
• Create clear, concise, and compelling visualizations to communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Utilize spatial data analysis techniques to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for prevention, mitigation, response, investigation, and recovery optimization.
• Coordinate, complete, and oversee job-related activities and assignments.

• Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geographic Information Systems, Spatial Data Science, or related area.
• 5 years' experience working as a GIS analyst.
• Prior work experience in a security, risk intelligence, supply chain, or retail environment.
• Prior work experience in a security operations center or risk intelligence environment.
• Prior work experience with SQL queries and spatial data analysis techniques.
