Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Athletic Trainer to join our team at Methodist Hospitals. As an Athletic Trainer - Orthopedic Spine Specialist, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care to our patients, focusing on the prevention, assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of orthopedic spine injuries.
Key Responsibilities- Prevention and Assessment: Develop and implement prevention programs to reduce the risk of injury, and conduct thorough assessments to identify potential issues.
- Treatment and Rehabilitation: Design and implement treatment plans to address orthopedic spine injuries, including the use of modalities, therapeutic exercises, and strengthening programs.
- Education and Communication: Educate patients and their families on proper injury prevention and management techniques, and communicate effectively with healthcare providers to ensure seamless care.
- Program Development: Collaborate with our team to develop and implement programs that promote injury prevention, education, and rehabilitation.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
- Experience: 1 year of experience in athletic training or related field preferred.
- Certifications: Indiana Athletic Trainer License required; Certified Athletic Trainer (BOC) and NATA Certified Athletic Trainer preferred.
