Overview: We are looking for a proficient Interventional Radiology (IR) Technician for a contract role in Hermitage, TN. The successful candidate will possess experience in a clinical or hospital environment, adept at performing IR procedures while collaborating effectively with the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support radiologists and other medical professionals during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
  • Prepare and manage the necessary equipment for procedures such as angiography, angioplasty, stenting, and other minimally invasive techniques.
  • Ensure the safety and comfort of patients throughout the procedures.
  • Maintain precise patient records and ensure thorough documentation of all procedures performed.
  • Adhere to all regulatory and safety standards, including radiation safety protocols.
  • Provide necessary post-procedural care instructions to patients.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant certification and licensure as mandated by the state of Tennessee.
  • Preferred prior experience as an IR Technician.
  • Strong technical proficiency in operating IR equipment.
  • Ability to perform efficiently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to patient care.
