Job Summary

As a key member of our operations team, the Operations Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth delivery of our services. This position will be responsible for coordinating the dispatch of transportation equipment, managing facility reporting metrics, and investigating customer service complaints.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the dispatch of linehaul transportation equipment, ensuring timely delivery and pickup of trailers.
  • Manage facility reporting metrics, including service, safety, cost, and quality metrics, to identify areas for improvement.
  • Investigate customer service complaints, including disputed deliveries, missing packages, and early/late pickups.
  • Communicate with Business Contacts and Authorized Officers to resolve issues and implement corrective action plans.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of corrective action plans for discrepancies or violations found in the Business Control Self-Assessment (BCSA) tests.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related area preferred.
  • Administrative support, customer service, or dock operations experience preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to effectively and professionally respond to requests and issues.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and draw conclusions from numerical data and written information.

This role may require working in a fast-paced environment, with frequent changes in priorities and deadlines. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
