About the Role

As a Civil Inspection Intern at HDR, you will work with a team of Project Managers and Engineers in preparing plans, specifications, and estimates for projects of various sizes and complexity.

You will also work with our Construction Managers and Surveyors on various projects that may require some travel.

The ideal candidate must be self-motivated and able to work independently as well as with a project team to complete tasks.

This role requires the application of standard engineering techniques and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare plans, specifications, and estimates for projects of varying sizes and complexity.
  • Work with Construction Managers and Surveyors on projects that require travel.
  • Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures.

Requirements

  • Candidates must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program.
  • Attention to detail is essential.
  • Must possess strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • BASIC Microsoft Office skills are required.
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture are a must.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
