Job Overview

We are seeking a Food Service Associate to join our team at Peregrin, located in the heart of Savannah's historic district. As a member of our restaurant operations team, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding service to our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Provide prompt and courteous food service to restaurant customers, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.

  • Take orders, serve food and beverages, and maintain a clean and welcoming dining environment.

  • Work collaboratively with our kitchen staff to ensure seamless execution of meals and exceptional guest satisfaction.

  • Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and customer interactions, using standard cash-handling procedures and technology systems.

  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date on menu items, recipes, and daily specials.

Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent.

  • Previous experience in a similar position, preferably with a focus on customer service and food preparation.

  • Basic knowledge of customer service principles, food server functions, and restaurant operations.

  • Familiarity with standard cash-handling procedures and technology systems.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with guests, colleagues, and management.
