You will manage daily operations and support sales and service managers in establishing ambitious yet achievable objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations, address customer complaints swiftly, and ensure customer satisfaction standards are achieved
- Recruit, onboard, and mentor service managers, office managers, and sales/finance department leaders to achieve profitability targets
- Assist in developing cost-effective marketing campaigns and initiatives to boost sales and enhance brand recognition for the dealership
- Participate in management meetings and cultivate strong relationships with owners, managers, and dealership personnel to refine sales processes and recommend daily sales targets
- Implement growth strategies that align with the objectives of the automotive group by carefully evaluating profit and loss while maintaining a vehicle inventory that meets local market demands
- Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for accuracy and completeness before sharing them with upper management
- Understand and comply with all local, state, and federal regulations affecting vehicle sales and the automotive industry
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not mandatory; a high school diploma or GED equivalent is required
- A minimum of three years of experience in a sales manager or assistant manager role within a dealership or automotive group is essential
- Familiarity with the automotive industry and current trends
- Possess a valid state-issued driver’s license and maintain an acceptable driving record for operating dealership vehicles
- Strong communication skills, proven leadership experience, and the ability to analyze profit and loss statements are critical for success
