Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill children, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes. As a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and providing education to patients and families.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill children, including assessment, medication administration, and procedural support
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
  • Provide education to patients and families on disease management, treatment options, and self-care
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of California
  • 1-3 years of experience in Pediatric Intensive Care
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
