Dietary Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dietary Assistant-Supervisor to join our team at the Daughters of Charity Ministries. As a key member of our dining services team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all dining service needs for our Sister residents are met, including special diets and meal preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the work of dietary assistants, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Assist the Dietary Director in employee evaluations and provide input on staff performance.
• Ensure that meal tickets are accurate and ready for the next meal, and maintain a clean and safe dining environment.
• Supervise staff in a proactive and constructive manner to meet the goals of the department.
• Fill in and assist wherever needed to ensure total menu production, setup, delivery, and retrieval.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in a food service or dietary setting.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and residents.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Physical demands include standing, walking, climbing, stooping, bending, stretching, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 100 pounds.

The Daughters of Charity Ministries is a retirement home for the Sisters of the Daughters of Charity, providing independent and assisted living and memory care in a person-centered care environment. We are located in a wonderful, park-like setting with on-site vehicle parking.
