Job Title: Kitchen Supervisor
Job Summary:
Thompson Hospitality is seeking a skilled Kitchen Supervisor to oversee staff and ensure seamless operations in our fast-paced kitchen environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for communicating with employees, directing daily tasks, and providing advice to management as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and motivate employees through effective communication and leadership
- Stock supplies, serve guests, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Resolve customer complaints and ensure exceptional customer service
- Maintain food service and production levels, adhering to kitchen sanitation and safety standards
- Start-up and shut-down of restaurant equipment and processes
- Handle inventory responsibilities, including food orders and receipts
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in restaurant supervision or management, preferably in a full-service or fast-casual environment
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a clear and professional demeanor
- Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize tasks with efficiency
- A personable, friendly, and outgoing personality
- Ability to lead, motivate, and manage employees
