Job Overview

Aramark Healthcare+ is in search of a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to oversee operations at a healthcare facility. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless functioning of all maintenance and engineering services within the establishment.


The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor will be tasked with managing all unit activities associated with Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), Carpentry, Painting, and General Maintenance across the facility, including the maintenance of all buildings and grounds.


COMPENSATION:

The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $85,000, influenced by various factors such as the applicant's skills, qualifications, relevant degrees and certifications, previous job experience, market data, and other pertinent considerations. Additional compensation may be available in the form of bonuses or commissions, if applicable.

This reflects Aramark's good faith estimate of the compensation range for this role at the time of posting.

Upon hiring, the employee will be in an 'at-will position,' and Aramark reserves the right to adjust base salary and other discretionary payments at any time and for any reason, including individual performance, departmental performance, and market factors.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee all MEP, Carpentry, Painting, and General Maintenance tasks, along with the upkeep of Buildings and Grounds.
- Ensure the effective execution of departmental strategies and initiatives to meet company and client expectations with high standards of excellence and urgency.
- Utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage and prioritize work orders.
- Responsible for Preventative Maintenance, including logging and documentation.
- Oversee project planning and management of contractors and vendors.
- Assist with budgeting and capital planning while ensuring efficient use of capital equipment.
- Foster a culture of safety excellence, promoting a Safety-FIRST core value and empowering team members to maintain a safe work environment.
- Create a positive employee work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration at all levels.
- Assist in managing labor costs, supply costs, and inventories.
- Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations.
- Support the implementation of the comprehensive Safety Plan and ensure adherence to safety regulations, including Fire & Life Safety and Environment of Care standards.
- Establish and maintain effective communication and business relationships.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of maintenance trades, including MEP, Carpentry, Painting, and General Maintenance.
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance requirements related to maintenance and Fire & Life Safety.
- Experience in healthcare and familiarity with Joint Commission standards is preferred.
- Proven leadership skills are essential.
- HVAC experience is advantageous.
