Job Title: Advanced Practice RN II

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our team at North Texas State Hospital - Vernon Campus. As an APRN, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Job Summary:

The Advanced Practice RN II is responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' medical conditions and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide medical treatment and interventions, including medication management and procedural care
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate medical records
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field
  • Current APRN licensure in the State of Texas
  • At least 2 years of experience as an APRN
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of medical procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
