Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the HVAC Installation Department to ensure timely and efficient completion of installation projects.
- Independently perform routine HVACR installation tasks without direct supervision.
- Assist senior technicians in mentoring new employees on installation techniques and protocols.
- Engage in point-of-work sales for Indoor Air Quality services and unit components.
- Support the IAQ and Service Departments with non-installation tasks as needed.
- Execute additional duties as assigned by the Installation Manager.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma and completion of a two-year post-secondary HVACR training program.
- A minimum of one year of hands-on experience in HVACR installation or service.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interpret installation manuals and interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Physical capability to perform job duties in various weather conditions.
- Proactive in enhancing HVACR skills through self-study and training opportunities.
- Willingness to learn sales techniques related to service contracts and unit replacements.
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate company vehicles.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to changing demands.
