Job Summary

A Radiology Imaging Specialist is needed to join the team at Adventist Health in Sonora, California. This full-time position offers a competitive salary and a range of benefits.

About the Role

This Radiology Imaging Specialist will operate x-ray equipment to produce high-quality radiographs of designated body parts as ordered by physicians. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to position patients comfortably for examination. They will also be responsible for preparing equipment, positioning patients, and monitoring patient safety during exams.

The successful candidate will have an Associate's Degree in radiological technology and hold certifications from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Radiography (ARRT-R) and Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice. A Fluoroscopy license in the state of employment is also required.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation
  • Explain procedures to patients and answer questions
  • Prepare equipment for use as needed
  • Position patients for imaging exams
  • Monitor patients and ensure safety during exams
