Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapy Technician to join our team at ProMedica Health System. As a Radiation Therapy Technician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our radiation oncology department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver prescribed radiation therapy to patients, ensuring accurate and safe treatment.
  • Collaborate with physicists, dosimetrists, nursing staff, and physicians to coordinate patient care and treatment plans.
  • Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for patients, maintaining a safe and efficient environment.
  • Participate in process improvement efforts and contribute to team function and decision-making.
  • Meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting 50 pounds and standing for prolonged periods.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Radiation Therapy or related field.
  • Ohio Radiologic License required.
  • ARRT and CPR certification.
  • 1+ year of experience as a working Radiation Therapy Technician.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Radiation Therapy or related field.
  • Knowledge of Varian equipment/software and EPIC.
