Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med Surg team in Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts.
Job Summary:As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our Med Surg department, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals in various settings within the community. Your expertise will be utilized to deliver comprehensive care, including assessment, teaching, treatment, documentation, and care coordination.
Responsibilities:- Deliver skilled nursing care to patients in various settings, adhering to organizational philosophy, policy, and standards of community health practice.
- Perform admissions process and case management responsibilities in accordance with MGB Healthcare at Home policies and standards of practice.
- Utilize thorough and timely electronic documentation and interdisciplinary communications to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Provide high-quality customer service, demonstrating financial awareness and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
- Graduate of an approved School of Nursing.
- Current Massachusetts license as Registered Nurse.
- Minimum of one year previous nursing experience in an acute care setting, with prior home care experience preferred.
- Ability to work with various computer software and knowledge of hand-held patient care computer devices.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to work with a diverse population.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work, adapt to changing situations, and work independently with minimal supervision.
