About the Role
As a Fire Alarm Technician at Convergint, you will play a crucial part in our dynamic team that delivers exceptional service to customers and communities. You will be responsible for installing, programming, and testing fire alarm systems, as well as providing technical support and training to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install and program fire alarm systems, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards
- Perform system start-up, testing, and commissioning, including customer training and documentation
- Provide technical support and training to customers, resolving issues and improving customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with engineering personnel to resolve complex problems and improve product performance
- Execute multiple projects simultaneously, managing timelines, budgets, and quality of work

Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in Electronics or related field preferred
- NICET Level II - Fire Alarm Systems certification required; EST4 Certification preferred
- 6+ years of experience in electronics field service; electrical license required by local/state authority
- Excellent customer focus, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to work under pressure and maintain awareness of customer needs
