Newborn Hearing Screen Technician

At Pediatrix Medical Group, we are seeking a skilled Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in the early detection of hearing loss in newborns.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct newborn hearing screens in a hospital setting, providing accurate and timely results.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care.
  • Enter patient data and validate hearing screen results, maintaining accurate records.
  • Assist with confirming or rescheduling outpatient appointments, as needed.
  • Perform equipment maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide comprehensive care and support.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with infants and in a hospital setting is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Computer proficiency and data entry accuracy are required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to work weekends and national holidays.
  • Physical demands include frequent lifting and standing, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
