Position Overview
As a Financial Solutions Specialist at First Commonwealth Bank, your main responsibility is to provide expert guidance to clients and potential clients regarding a comprehensive array of investment, retirement, and insurance options tailored to their unique requirements.

Lead Generation and Relationship Management
You will take charge of your prospecting initiatives, cultivating leads by mentoring and training bank associates, including personnel in the Financial Solutions Centers you collaborate with. Additionally, you will drive business growth through self-initiated marketing and sales efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clients and prospects with informed advice on a diverse range of investment, retirement, and insurance products to effectively meet their needs while reaching set targets within a designated area.
  • Implement a consultative financial planning sales strategy to enhance sales opportunities and improve performance metrics.
  • Act with urgency to collect and assess clients' financial data to support them in achieving their future financial goals.
  • Maintain and nurture existing client relationships, ensuring that advice and solutions adapt to changes in clients' circumstances, while identifying opportunities for cross-selling services from other business lines.
  • Generate leads through various channels, including referrals from bank employees, personal connections, and proactive outreach.
  • Assess clients' needs for financial services and products by gathering relevant information and providing tailored solutions.
  • Facilitate client confidence in financial matters by connecting them with partners and other business lines, such as institutional product sales, loan and deposit offerings, and advanced insurance solutions.
  • Collaborate with Brokerage Support to enhance sales efforts and resolve client issues as needed.
  • Work closely with the Brokerage Sales Manager and Program Manager to set and monitor sales goals and outcomes.
  • Keep detailed records of sales activities and client interactions, consistently meeting performance objectives set by management.
  • Engage in training sessions, sales meetings, and client development reporting.
  • Stay informed about regulatory and compliance developments impacting the industry.
  • Continuously evaluate the dynamics of your assigned territory for potential challenges and opportunities.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in Business or a related discipline, or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in financial sales is preferred, demonstrating trustworthiness and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Current Series 7 and 63 licenses, along with Life, Accident & Health insurance licenses are required. Must obtain Series 65 or 66 within 90 days of employment.
  • Proven success in financial sales, with excellent communication, organizational, mathematical, and analytical skills. A friendly demeanor and the ability to connect with clients quickly are essential.
  • Proficiency in technology, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to travel are necessary.
