Position Overview:

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments in Speech-Language Pathology to evaluate patients' capabilities in speech, language, cognition, and swallowing.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans following comprehensive assessments.
  • Engage in patient and family care conferences as scheduled.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of program initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Possession of the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Valid driver's license and auto liability insurance in accordance with company policy.
  • For CFY positions, a supervisor must be available within the organization.

Additional Requirements:

As per Medicare regulations, candidates must either:
(1) Be eligible for the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Pathology as per the standards in effect on January 17, 1974; or
(2) Meet the educational criteria for certification and be in the process of obtaining the necessary supervised clinical experience.
