POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Bakery Plant Manager at Zippy's, the Production Mixer/Baker plays a crucial role in crafting cakes and pies tailored to daily orders, ensuring adherence to quality standards and recipe accuracy.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Prepare and produce cakes and pies according to daily specifications
  • Ensure accurate tagging and labeling of all baked goods
  • Support other departmental tasks as needed
  • Uphold cleanliness and sanitation protocols
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Scheduling: Must be flexible and available for various shifts
  • Physical Ability: Capable of lifting 25-50 pounds and standing for extended periods
  • Mental Ability: Proficient in basic mathematics with strong planning and organizational skills
  • Pre-Employment Requirements: Successful completion of physical and drug screenings
  • Environmental Conditions: Comfortable working in environments with fluctuating temperatures
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience: Previous experience in a bakery setting is preferred
  • Desired Attributes: A flexible team player with a positive demeanor and effective communication skills
