Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Stamping Engineer to join our team at Motive Companies. This role involves the design and development of progressive and compound dies, as well as overseeing and optimizing manufacturing processes for stamping machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop innovative metal stamping dies in alignment with project specifications.
  • Evaluate and enhance existing manufacturing methods to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Conduct research to design effective manufacturing processes tailored to our production needs.
  • Analyze workforce utilization, spatial requirements, and workflow to create optimal equipment and workspace layouts.
  • Estimate production timelines, staffing needs, and associated costs for projects.
  • Utilize statistical techniques to forecast future manufacturing demands.
  • Respond to and resolve customer inquiries regarding manufacturing capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in stamping, with a focus on metal manufacturing.
  • Proven experience in designing precision parts from initial concept through to production.
  • Strong knowledge of tooling design, materials, and the metal fabrication process.
  • Familiarity with production equipment capabilities and assembly techniques, including GD&T.
  • Preference for proficiency in SOLIDWORKS (logopress) over AutoCAD or Inventor.
  • Excellent critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong mathematical skills and effective communication.
  • Good listening skills to understand and address team and customer needs.

Compensation:
Salary range: $100,000 - $120,000 annually, based on experience.
