Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Painting Specialist to join our team at HOLT Manufacturing. As a key member of our shop team, you will be responsible for painting and sandblasting heavy equipment, oil field pump skids, generator packages, and related equipment in a shop environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Painting Preparation: Perform painting preparation process to ensure quality paint application.
  • Equipment Painting: Operate painting or coating tools on assigned equipment to improve appearance and achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Body Work: Straighten body panels and fenders, fill small dents, and smooth out repaired surfaces.
  • Maintenance: Maintain paint booth and painting equipment, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
  • Light Mechanical Work: Perform light mechanical work to replace parts, remove and apply equipment decals, and complete necessary paperwork.
  • Quality Control: Conduct quality control analysis to ensure products meet standards.
Requirements
  • Experience: Five or more years of experience in painting and/or body work in an automotive or similar shop environment.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; associate degree or technical training from an accredited vocational school strongly preferred.
  • Skills: General knowledge of tools, equipment, methods, materials, and terminology used in the paint trade; proficiency with current computer software and related hardware.
Work Environment

This position requires regular and punctual employee attendance. You will work indoors in a non-controlled environmental condition, around moving mechanical parts, unfavorable fumes and odors, and hazardous chemicals. You may be exposed to weather extremes when working outside.
