Essential Functions

  • Deliver high-quality patient care while operating MRI equipment, maintaining optimal patient care, and ensuring magnet safety.
  • Screen patients and staff entering zone 3 and 4, and communicate with patients and medical staff regarding MR safety questionnaires and clinical history.
  • Prepare scan rooms, administer contrast materials, and implement emergency procedures as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and best practices.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

  • This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education - Certification Program. Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Experience - No experience required.

Required Certifications, Registrations, Licenses

  • ARRT registered in Radiology & MRI; OR ARRT registered in MRI; OR ARMRIT-American Registry of MRI certification.
  • BLS.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of office equipment (fax/copier).
  • Proficient computer skills (database).
  • Data entry skills.
  • Mathematical skills.
